Fifteen-year-old violinist Albert Gang won the Pacific Palisades Young Artist Competition and was a prizewinner at the ENKOR International Competition and Classics Alive Young Artist Competition. He has soloed with the Pacific Symphony and the Palisades Symphony. Albert participated in the full-scholarship chamber music programs of the Music Academy of the West’s MERIT Program and the Young Musician Foundation’s Chamber Music Series. In his summers, he has attended the Meadowmount School of Music and the Aspen Music Festival.
Additionally, Albert is the regional co-director of Back to Bach, a national outreach program aiming to introduce young children to classical music. Albert has played for musicians such as Earl Carlyss, David Finckel, Cornelia Heard, Joan Kwoun, Ivan Zenaty. He first started playing the violin with Neli Nikolaeva at age seven. Currently, Albert studies with Margaret Batjer at the Colburn Music Academy.
