Alice Kyungsun Yoo has become one of the most sought after chamber musician in Southern California. She has been performing throughout USA, Canada and Europe. Her career began in Canada where she received numerous scholarships and awards including the first place in National Music Festival, first place in Music Competition sponsored by Korean Radio Broadcast, and prizewinner of Canadian Music Competition. Recently, she was awarded as a prizewinner at World Piano Competition of Cincinnati. As a collaborator, she has performed recitals regularly in America, and in Canada, and has appeared in Virtuosi Concert Series in Winnipeg, and concerts sponsored by LA Phil Affiliate Committees.
More recently Ms Yoo was invited to collaborate with violinist/pianist Ray Ushikubo for Performance Today in Minnesota. She has Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from University of Southern California under the tutelage of Antoinette Perry, and currently working as a part time staff pianist at Colburn School.
